Color Blind

It's the year 2080, after World War III, a time when countries are allied, one world leader has made tremendous gains in world unity, and peace and love abound. Yet for Angela Thomas, an outgoing, self-confident, and determined eleven-year old girl, peace is nowhere in sight. Angela tells a story of how she and her family move away from her grandma and best friends, right before entering middle school, to a small town-the location of a race elimination experiment, and a place, where for Angela, true love was forbidden.

The story unfolds Angela's quest-that spans a six-week period-to unmask a major government cover up and to unearth the mystery of two kid's disappearance in a town that had seemingly forgotten about them. With the help of new friends, and a mysteries old woman-unbeknownst to anyone, Angela dares to unlocks a life-threatening secret and discover the true secret of the town. Angela lands herself in danger and relies on the goodness of others to save her.

Sometimes we may not understand the challenges set before us, but on occasion, help is given in ways we least expect and never truly understand. Then we discover our inner strength while also helping others along the way.
