Colditz

Colditz: Home Run charts the fictional events occurring at Oflag IV-C following the departure of Lieutenant Player in 1943.

The novel reintroduces classic characters from the programme with the inimitable Pat Grant, Dick Player and Simon Carter taking their rightful places centre stage. The story begins in November 1943 when the Colditz Escape Committee's greatest plan to date is masterminded and put into action.

With pressure from MI9 to complete the operation, and Major Mohn and Hauptmann Ulmann meanwhile cracking down ever more stringently on security measures, our heroes must become more innovative and determined than ever if they're to pull off the propaganda coup of the decade.

The story is followed by its sequel, Colditz: Missing, Presumed Escaped, in which Flight Lieutenant Carter embarks on a solo mission in a daring bid for freedom.
