At the center of all reality stands a throne. The Eternal Throne belongs exclusively to the Triune God and will never be shared. Yet from this throne God extended a breathtaking invitation: He created within every human being a personal heart-throne - the command center of will, affections, and decisions - to be kept and tended exclusively for Him.

In the Fall, humanity seized that throne, rebelling against God's glory. The great usurpation left a painful vacancy that no religion or self-effort could fill.

Then came the Cross - the greatest display of God's glory. The Second Adam kept the created heart-throne perfectly for the Father. Through His finished work, the door was opened for the Holy Spirit to indwell every believing heart - not to share the throne, but to reign from it as the only rightful King while we remain fully human and fully submitted.

Co-regency with Christ is the believer's practical participation in the glory of God. It is total submission: fully vacating the personal heart-throne, locking it to Christ in love, and surrendering the center of our will, affections, and decisions without ever claiming it back.
