Former U.S. Marshal Roscoe Mcleod once believed the badge stood for justice. That belief died the day he discovered a ring of men preying on children, and took the law into his own hands. Disgraced and dismissed rather than praised, Roscoe leaves Texas behind, hoping to outrun his past and start anew in the Arizona Territory, where his brother has built a quiet life.
