Agent [REDACTED] doesn't have the security clearance to know the Cult's true name. He's just a medic. Yet, when he finds a lone cultist bleeding, broken, and near-dead, the agent goes against every law in the Federal Bureau of Power to save his life. Mere hours later, the sleepy mountain town he calls home is obliterated in a supernatural disaster, his best friend Kain goes missing, and a bloodthirsty biker gang rises from the wreckage. All the agent can do is escape with his life.

Volume One of Chasing Kain is an illustrated alternate history government report written by an agent of the Federal Bureau of Power, a governmental organization responsible for cleaning up after the creatures that lurk in the dark. It includes anomaly reports, in-universe sketches, burned fragments of classified documents, and far more cultist-authored pink annotations than any official report should have.
