The Stakes couldn't be higher, as the days, weeks and final months of 1939 countdown to the explosive unprovoked Blitzkrieg attack on Poland.
After destroying Heydrich's false flag "Operation Nemesis", Kurt, the "Chameleon" is now in a race against time to discover the identity of the traitor in the Abwehr, codenamed "Peter Pan" as the final months of peace in Europe quickly tick away as the unstoppable Nazi war machine prepares to strike against Poland following the collapse of the rump-state of Czechoslovakia, and Kurt is in a desperate race against time. Kurt returns to Prague, now the capital of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia to find Peter Pan's spymaster Captain Kopecký, now the head of a resistance network. Whilst in Bohemia, Kurt witnesses a sample of the terror that will spread across Europe, when a village of Roma are rounded up and murdered by an SS murder squad. Kurt's life will never be the same again after rescuing one of the Roma children Luca, hiding the boy in plain sight.
The hour strikes, Blitzkrieg is unleashed and Kurt is sent with a team of agents and a unit of secret field police into Poland with Army Group North, into the fiery heart of a bloody and savage war, advancing on Warsaw ion a top-secret mission.
Kurt's unknown guardian angel, SS-Untersturmführer Kasper von Görtz's obsession with Kurt intensifies.
