"Catalogue of the Frank Lloyd Collection of Worcester Porcelain of the Wall Period" is a definitive scholarly guide to one of the most significant collections of early English ceramics. Authored by the renowned expert R.L. Hobson, this work provides a meticulous survey of the Dr. Wall era of the Worcester factory, spanning approximately 1751 to 1783. This period is widely regarded as the golden age of Worcester porcelain, characterized by its innovative use of soaprock and exquisite decorative styles ranging from blue and white patterns to elaborate polychrome enamels.

The catalogue offers detailed descriptions of various items including tea services, vases, and ornamental pieces, highlighting the technical mastery and artistic diversity that defined the factory's output. It serves as an essential resource for collectors, historians, and enthusiasts of the decorative arts, offering insights into the evolution of British ceramic craftsmanship and the aesthetic preferences of the 18th century. Through its examination of the Frank Lloyd collection, Hobson illuminates the nuances of glaze, paste, and mark-making that distinguish genuine Wall-period pieces.
