CAPO: Champagne and Black Roses is a glimpse into the real life drama of a young man trying to reunite his family. From a family of Latin refugees, D'Juan Shakur learns how to survive in the streets. His father's an entrepreneur, his mother is a real estate agent. When his parents are under investigation due to 'The Familia' criminal organization, D'Juan's life changes dramatically. He and older brother Julian, vow to do whatever it takes to be free from the oppression their families were up against. D'Juan love life is as topsy turvy as a role of dice. Aysha, a Muslimah is the conscience in his ear. She teaches him the righteousness of the religion of Islam, but the American way was to get paid. Which becomes a conflict, and ultimately puts distance between the two love birds. However, what one lady don't understand another one will. Tonya, a Puerto Rican from Harlem, N.Y helps D'Juan with his biggest endeavors. As the story goes on, and romance heats up. The stakes get higher, and the blood trail thickens.
