This Gem is a new perspective with angles and twists from an elderly man's point of view that covers: generational entanglements; the gift of relationships; and the gift of life through struggles that has the power to break down barriers and mend broken hearts for the purpose of bridging through forgiveness and reconciliation. The heart holds the seed of love that as long as it beats, there is a chance to express love in various different ways. The wear and tear of life can be brutal but the beat of the heart provides opportunities to share the seed of love that resides there, that when cultivated, can flourish into greater than the seed where it began and now grows with every expression of love collected, dispensed and/or recipricated because you dared to learn to love through sacrifice, caring and understanding.
I have found that the purest of the funniest people has got to be children and the elderly. They hold nothing back and are free spirited. Being taken care of allows them to be bold, reckless and free. Even those that are cranky and contankerous can give you the best laughs if you would just sit among them, taking nothing personal, just watching them be who they are or have become. You don't have to correct everything, just enjoying them and ensuring they are safe in their imaginary or remembrance of their world as they know it to be. If GOD says the same, the young will grow up and out of that stage; the old will show out with wisdom they have accumulated over the years and some day leave behind priceless memories. Laugh, enjoy them in every stage of life.
