What was created was an intimate window on their lives that revealed how they wanted to be perceived and recorded for posterity. Milton Rogovin's photographs are in many major collections, and his archives were recently acquired by the Library of Congress. A true national treasure, Rogovin, now in his ninth decade, received the W. Eugene Smith Memorial Award in 1983.
