The book is an investigation-based book delving into the story that surrounds the flights of BK662 and its crews being uncovered. It gives details of its crew and some of the backgrounds of the crew that perished so courageously.
It also goes into details about the construction of Short Stirling's and their adaption into bombing aircraft in the early days of the war before being re-adapted into troop carriers, mine laying and Tug pulling aircraft.
The story goes further in that it takes you on the Flight to Hamburg on night of the 3rd March 1943 and again to Essen on the 5th March 1943 the final flight.
The demise of the aircraft and its crew over the Dutch coast on the night of the 5th March and the flak that hit the aircraft and its estimated resting place.
