Bless The Lord

Katie's life has been filled with darkness and confusion, stemming from fears and trauma in her teenage years. When she was diagnosed with autism in her thirties, it explained many of her teenage storms. She developed a more intimate relationship with God when she heard the "Bless the Lord" sermon series, but realized that she had to find a new church home where she had no memories of her ex-husband's adultery.

She was led to Destiny Church where she is loved and has freedom to serve God. God miraculously healed her from her past! Katie is a warrior for Christ who is unwavering in her faith! She prays those who read her testimony will see God's light in the midst of their storms and experience God's love, peace, and freedom just as she has.

"They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony."

Revelation 12:11 Katie is a "warrior for Christ" with the Bible being the foundation of her life. She has a youthful spirit and feels most connected with God through her art, watching sunsets on the beach, or going on evening walks listening to nature sounds or Christian music.

She is very passionate about teaching God's Word, equipping people to spread the Gospel, as well as ministering to the homeless and people with special needs. She desires to share God's love with everyone.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send?

And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here I am. Send me!" Isaiah 6:8

Since Katie was diagnosed with high functioning autism, she can empathize with exclusion and communication difficulties. She wishes to inspire everyone that God loves them unconditionally just as they are, and can use them mightily in His kingdom.
