BIFF the Bipolar Bear

This little book grew out of a lifetime of real battles and real grace. I've walked through the chaos that an untreated mind can bring, and I've also tasted the steady peace that comes when we reach out for help and begin making healthier choices.
I'm not a medical doctor, nor do I pretend to be one. I am deeply grateful for those who are. My hope is simply to give children a window into what their bipolar mom or dad may be feeling so they won't carry the crushing weight of thinking it's their fault. Kids deserve clarity, compassion, and reassurance, especially when life feels like a storm.
More stories may follow - lighthearted tales that help little ones understand big, scary things.
