Beyond the Shadow Mist

Beyond The Shadow Mist, picks up the Zuvian adventures where Book 1, Zuvia, left off.

It begins as a boy named Cappy comes to the rescue of his Zuvian friends when they become challenged by outsiders trying to destroy their lifestyle and work.

The first novel, Zuvia, introduced us to the mysterious Zuvians and set the stage for the series, The Zuvians.

Beyond The Shadow Mist takes the activities further. It moves deeper into the relationships, conflicts, interactions, losses, and victories between 21st-century humans and the fantastical Zuvians.

Continuing the Gillington / Zuvia saga in the same Alabama woodland area where mysterious events still occur, the story begins with Cypressia, the Zuvian Princess, and her efforts to build a stronger relationship with the local human females. The female Zuvian strives to continue her mother's legacy by bonding more deeply with the girls. As the story progresses, Cypressia's family members are called up from the underground city of Zuvia, to assist the Princess as outside threats to their way of life become troublesome.

The region where the Zuvians reside is mostly unchanged today because of the folk tales and ghost rumors that prevent people from wanting to get too close. But as the Gillington property undergoes an assault unlike none before, Cappy Gillington and his neighborhood friends work hard to see that the area stays in their hands. They soon prove to be the Zuvians' greatest assets of all time!
