Beyond the Bully

This book is about my life, my story and God's redemption story. I was a bully when I was young due to what I saw and experienced growing up. This is a book of many struggles I went through in regards to being abused, however God changed my heart, and emotional pain. My life is so different now and I thank God for that. I grew up with an extremely abusive father and a mother who did not protect me from the abuse. Not just from my father but people outside my home also. I wrote this story based on my vision and memories of things that happened and some things I was told by my siblings about what happened to me before I was 5 yrs old. When I was older I remember that right before I would fall asleep it was like I was up in the corner ceiling of my room. I would have these feelings of every emotion known to man. I never understood it, I would ask myself what is all this about. I found out in a counseling session because I shared that with the counselor. I was going through my childhood at that time with him. He told me that it was from before I was verbal and that those were all the feelings I felt before I could speak. It made so much sense to me and I understood what it was, it never happened again. I just want to share that one time I had a holiday in my home, my father and another person that violated me when I was young was there. I had a house full of my family, I had my dog out among everyone, my dog went straight to my father and my violator and started biting their shoes. They got really nervous because my dog was a pit bull and they asked me to put her in the room so I did. I pray that my story will make a difference in the world of bullying. We have to get to the bottom of this horrible pandemic in the world today. Victims and bullies both need guidance. If we can start with the bullies' mental health then we can make a difference in the world today. I only say that because the bullies are hurting people and it needs to stop. I pray this book helps someone be able to navigate through their own bullying experience and come out the other side with emotional health.
