Bark and Enter

A thief is on the loose in Cottageville but the items stolen raise many questions. Ripe tomatoes disappear from a garden, and then someone breaks into Produce and More and steals bread, peanut butter, soup, children's medicine, and toilet paper...while leaving the cash untouched.

Sarah Carter insists she is not investigating, but her Australian red heeler cattle dog, Whiskey, appears to have other ideas.

Then librarian Carole Binds discovers something troubling hidden behind the poetry books, and Cottageville suddenly has a second mystery. Cryptic messages appear. A stranger is asking questions. Someone is watching. Two mysteries. Two very different kinds of trouble. Or are they?

With Chief James warning her to stay out of police business, Whiskey following scents no one else can detect, and Cottageville doing what Cottageville does best-watching, gossiping, and getting involved-Sarah must unravel what's really happening before someone decides the little Iowa town has learned too much.

Warm, witty, and full of canine charm, Bark and Enter is the eighth Whiskey Dog Mystery, a cozy tale of secrets, second chances, and a community that discovers sometimes the most important question isn't what was taken, but why.
