BACH'S PASSION

Music has some irrefutable dogmas.
One of them, if not the main one, is:
If it's not divine, it's not Bach.

Our planet is a world full of mysteries. And among the most notable are humanity's incredible advances in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and, of course, art. A few geniuses have carried the rest of humanity on their shoulders to achieve everything we have achieved to this day. In the field of music, that genius has a name: Johann Sebastian Bach.

Those of us who love music can't help but wonder: How did Bach achieve everything he did? All of today's music springs from this man's intellect. And it's difficult to understand how he created so much wonderful music.

The novel's protagonist, a distinguished physicist and music lover, asks himself these and other questions. And unexpectedly, after a strange message on his smartphone, he travels back in time and meets the father of music. After a period in which he begins to adopt the lifestyle of the 18th century, our protagonist travels back in time once again, this time accompanied by Bach, to witness the Passion of Christ. This great adventure is what inspires Bach to create one of the greatest achievements of human culture: the musical composition known as "The St. John Passion."

Of course, this is a fictional novel. But... there must be some explanation for the inexplicable: the creation, by a single man, of a monumental work, which possibly marked the beginning of everything we know today as Music.
