Humanity has left earth behind finding a new home on a planet named Hope. Astral Jones is a beautiful young woman who has sacrificed everything for her family, to ensure her family's passage to the new planet she has signed up to be the recipient of a new discovery called neural mesh, after being found to be the only person out of thousands of volunteers to be compatible she is put in charge of law enforcement and planetary defence for Hope.After the successful integration of the mesh and Astral's brain she is betrayed by those she trusted. Discovering that she is now dying she embarks on a journey to save her life, with the aid of a guard named Scott, she escapes the science complex.Soon after the escape things take a drastic turn when her body starts to negatively respond to the virus within her, causing her actions to grow uncontrollable and deadly.During her journey she and Scott pick up several companions who all have their own reasons to want revenge against the company in charge of science on Hope, and are all determined to see her live and defeat the virus.
