Athens is the birthplace of democracy and a city of wisdom and innovation. It has an amazing culture combining new and ancient sites to visit, absorb, and inspire. It is a city where meals are worth daydreaming over and unexpected adventure awaits around every cobblestone corner. Exploring the Plaka neighborhood on foot can be an exhausting, but magical, sojourn to the ancient world. As the sun sets every evening on the Acropolis, it is easy to find yourself on a marble step with renewed motivation and contemplating the impact of living among the great thinkers of the City of the Violet Crown.

Alex and Little Niko is a whimsical story about a boy who has his own Greek daydream. Alex finds himself accidentally hopping onto a ferry to Athens while chasing his dog, Niko, and the neighbor cat, Roxy. As the ferry departs on its long voyage across the sea, Alex quickly realizes he is stuck and cannot get off! On the way to Athens, Alex closes his eyes and imagines an adventure, with Niko and Roxy curled by his feet. The troika explore the city sites and experience a thrilling adventure -- wandering the winding streets, exalting ancient treasures, and even fighting off mythological creatures come to life! What will happen to the three brave junior Athenians?
