After Hours

A well-respected Folklore professor from a wealthy and powerful family is gruesomely murdered and tucked away in one of his very own spine-chilling relics. The only clues left behind; an antique Romanian silver coin, two puncture marks in his neck, and a questionable connection to a vampire cult in the City of Angels.

His wife Margot beside herself, his assistant Kevin displaced from his position, his colleague Dr. Fox bereft from the loss, two treasure hunters attempting to comb through Dr. Banner's life in search of a hidden treasure, a current lover, Dragos, and a former lover, Thanatos, are all cloaked in shrouds of darkness, mystery, and scandal over the life and more importantly death of Dr. Banner.

The Marlowe Team is dragged into this case due to Dick's sense of loyalty to an old friend, Selma Little, at a time that Dick is reeling over the arrival of Sam's unknown illegitimate son, Zackary. The last person Dick expected to show up at the office during Sam's fake memorial.
