A Note from the Author
In the early 1960's, we were having lunch with a friend, and in the middle of our conversation, he stopped, took out a pen and some paper, and wrote something down. We asked what he was writing, and he said that when he thinks of something cool he writes it down so he won't forget it.
That made a strong and lasting impression on me... it was a perfect idea for the thoughts I get too. That is where this began. I call what I write down "notions" and they are this book.
