40 Days of Silent Journey with God treats that moment as a doorway. Across forty short daily readings, it invites you to practice a quieter kind of prayer: simply being present before God, attentive and honest, without needing to fill the space.

The journey moves through five parts:

• Arriving: coming to a stop just as you are, tired or doubtful or distracted
• Listening: attending to Scripture, to creation, and to your own heart
• Telling the Truth: bringing grief, anger, guilt, and spiritual dryness to God without pretending
• Entrusting: placing in God's hands what you cannot change, hurry, or understand
• Carrying: taking quiet prayer into conversations, work, and acts of mercy

Each day includes:

• A Scripture passage and a reflection grounded in it
• A short, realistic practice of silence or attentive prayer, with gentler options for days when stillness is hard
• One sentence to carry into the day
• Two reflection questions with space to write
• A closing prayer

This is a book for beginners and for the weary. It never asks for a blank mind or a particular feeling, and it is plain that silence does not mean hiding pain or going without help. A wandering mind is expected, and one whole day is devoted to it.
