Wonderings: A Collection of Poems

In this luminous debut collection, New York-based artist and poet Ray Testa offers a deeply personal meditation on life, love, and legacy. Across thirty evocative poems, each paired with a carefully selected image of his original artwork, Ray invites readers to experience a profound harmony of language and visual art. This volume is as much a work of art as it is a book. It was created not only to be read but to be revisited, displayed, and cherished as an heirloom-quality collection designed to last. With themes ranging from memory and nature to loss, gratitude, and the everyday moments that define us, these poems offer both intimacy and universality. The accompanying paintings, ranging from expressive oil works to quiet, abstract impressions, complement the poetry with emotional resonance and visual storytelling. Together, they create a multi-sensory experience that speaks to the soul. This is the first in a planned trilogy of poetic reflections, each weaving together words and imagery to honor the human journey. Whether read quietly alone or sharing with others, this book is a meaningful companion for those who seek beauty, truth, and inspiration in both art and life. Ideal for lovers of poetry, collectors of original art, or anyone drawn to creative expression and emotional authenticity. It's a journey of words and images in a timeless keepsake for the heart and home.
