What God Has Done

Life draws out wonders of our world and of ourselves that shout for recognitionyet we miss many of them and the ones we notice are not gazed at or thoughtout. We give up the insight or awareness and move on without gain, missingthe good for our life. There are any number of ins and outs of daily life thatcould encourage our heart and mind and action, and this is doubly true ofGod. For God is the real insight of life and coming from him it means weare walking into the vast wonder of an eternal God who traces out all that isgood while also warning of all the dangers. And here is our great loss as wenotice so little of what God has done and is doing. But it is a loss that Godcan provide the bridge from our loss to a life full of hope and wonder. Sothe goal is to stop and consider what is going on about ourselves and whatan eternal merciful sovereign Lord brings to our life if we drop our narrowfocus and our materialistic instincts. The wonder of God s love will showour need for confession and redemption by God s Son, God the Son. Nowwe are off and running into all the layers of human action and thought withthe perspective of the eternal!
