In June 1946, the Kuomintang authorities launched a full-scale civil war. At the beginning of the war, after our army shattered the Kuomintang's attempt to win quickly, the Kuomintang army changed to focus on attacking the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region and the Shandong liberated area, and Yan'an was in danger. Faced with the advance of the Kuomintang's Hu Zongnan and other divisions, Mao Zedong and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China made the strategic choice to voluntarily evacuate Yan'an. From March 1947 for more than a year, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China began a hard struggle in Northern Shaanxi, successfully achieving a historic turn from passive to active on the battlefield. This book is one of the most comprehensive and detailed results of the study of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China's struggle in Northern Shaanxi. The book depicts the magnificent waves of the people's war with a grand but delicate brush, reproduces the thrilling battle scene, tells the critical moments on the way to the struggle, and shows the far-sighted planning of the Central Committee. History has eloquently proved that the victory or defeat of a war or a party ultimately depends on the support of the people.
