Second language writing assessment has been widely concerned by researchers and frontline teachers. Teacher-student collaborative assessment is a new type of assessment created for the output-oriented method, which organically combines teacher assessment, student self-assessment, peer assessment and machine assessment, and provides a new way of thinking for second language writing assessment. This book focuses on how to use collaborative teacher-student assessment to evaluate student writing texts in the output-oriented approach. The book consists of nine chapters. Chapters 1 and 2 provide the background and conceptual introduction to the implementation of collaborative teacher-student assessment. Chapters three through seven focus on principles, steps, examples, and effects of collaborative teacher-student evaluation implementation. Chapters 8 and 9 report the journey of collaborative teacher-student evaluation research and practicing teacher development. The book focuses more on how to implement assessment, starting from the problems that practicing teachers may encounter in the pre-, in-, and post-course phases of assessment, explaining the overall design framework for each phase step by step, and then presenting specific case studies. This book combines theory and practice, focuses on practical guidance, and is suitable for young researchers and teachers in the field of foreign language education, as well as senior undergraduate and graduate students majoring in foreign languages. The theoretical framework of collaborative teacher-student evaluation, practical examples and evaluation reflections in this book can enhance teachers' understanding of the output-oriented method of evaluation, and provide useful reference for the teaching of the output-oriented method, as well as being applicable to the evaluation of written and oral outputs under other teaching methods.
