Special education technology

Technology, or the application of scientific principles and foundations in practical settings, has become essential in agriculture, industry, and commerce. It has also become a fundamental component of the educational process. This has been facilitated by competition among manufacturing companies to provide diverse and advanced forms of educational materials and equipment that support teachers at all levels of education-primary, secondary, and university-for both regular students and those with special needs. The aim is to provide enriching experiences and create dynamic learning environments. Consequently, educational technology has been incorporated as a core component of teacher preparation and training programs at all educational levels. This field has developed its own concepts, areas of expertise, and research methodologies, leading to the emergence of numerous forms of educational technology.
