This book consists of two parts: the upper section contains 112 poems from Kalidasa's lyric epic "e;Meghaduta,"e; while the lower section includes 96 poems from "e;Antargada Saungha,"e; a eulogy. The lyric epic "e;Meghaduta"e; revolves around the theme of love, depicting the story of a Yaksha who, due to his exile, is separated from his beloved wife and sends a rain cloud as a messenger to express his longing and faithful love to her. The poet's imagination is extraordinary, and his metaphors are resplendent, truly embodying the sentiment "e;when poets are moved by things, their associations are boundless, lingering among myriad phenomena, pondering in the realm of sight and hearing."e; The entire poem is sincere and unpretentious, making readers feel as if they are experiencing the emotions themselves.
