"e;Production-Oriented Approach (POA) is a foreign language teaching theory and practice system that meets China's national conditions, created by Chinese scholars after more than ten years of exploration and in the two-way interaction between theory and practice. The system covers all levels of teaching concepts, teaching assumptions and teaching processes, and is targeted, innovative and practical. This book systematically introduces the construction of POA's theoretical system and its main contents, as well as the research paradigm advocated by POA, "e;Dialectical Research"e;. The book consists of sixteen chapters. Chapters 1 to 3 provide background knowledge for the book. Chapters 4 to 6 introduce the content and characteristics of POA's theoretical system. Chapters 7 to 11 explain in detail the meso-theory under the POA theory system, including the setting of key competency objectives, the design of driving scenarios and enabling activities, the implementation of teacher-student collaborative assessment, and the use of teaching materials. Chapters 12 to 14 introduce the research paradigm "e;dialectical research"e; advocated by POA. Chapters 15 to 16 report on POA teacher development research and reflections and perspectives on POA development.
