Our destiny is intertwined

"e;Based on true events"e;Regina struggles to survive with her daughter Lucia after the outbreak of World War II and the Nazis' attempt to exterminate the Jews. Lucia recounts her journey with her mother to escape with their lives after hiding in the Vienna workshop of her mother's friend, Reinhold Dushka, for four years. Lucia spends long hours helping Reinhold with his crafts while living in constant fear of being discovered by neighbors, customers, or the postman. In November 1944, after Reinhold's workshop is damaged in an air raid, he temporarily takes Regina and Lucia to his summer house and then to the cellar of a friend's shop, having miraculously escaped a roadblock. Lucia eventually seeks recognition for Reinhold's courageous efforts and realizes her desire to share her story widely.
