Thema dieser Dokumentationsbande ist die Begegnung zwischen den Ostkirchen und den Kirchen der Reformation. Sie verbinden exegetische, historische und hermeneutische Perspektiven auf Orthodoxie und Protestantismus mit aktuellen okumenischen Fragestellungen. Band 1 vereint die Beitrge des Erlanger Symposiums "e;Hermeneutik und Hermeneuten"e; mit den Vortrgen der Eichsttter Tagung "e;Reformation und die Ostkirchen"e; und der bilateralen theologischen Dialogbegegnung zwischen der Evangelischen Kirche in Deutschland (EKD) und der Rumnischen Orthodoxen Kirche zum Thema "e;Die Erneuerung der Kirche"e;. Band 2 dokumentiert die Verleihung der Ehrendoktorwrde der Theologischen Fakultt Tbingen an den kumenischen Patriarchen Bartholomaios I sowie die begleitende Tbinger Tagung "e;Freiheit aus orthodoxer und evangelischer Sicht"e; und ergnzt diese durch hier erstmals in deutscher Sprache publizierte Aufstze des kumenischen Patriarchen zu kirchenhistorischen, liturgischen, dogmatischen, ethischen und kologischen Fragen. Band 3 enthlt die Vortrge des Berliner altorientalisch-evangelischen Dialoges zur "e;Zukunft des Christentums im Nahen Osten"e; und des Moskauer bilateralen theologischen Dialoggesprches zwischen dem Moskauer Patriarchat und der EKD zu "e;Martyrium und christlichem Zeugnis"e;. The first volume unites the contributions of the Erlangen symposium on hermeneutics, the papers of the Eichsttt conference on the Reformation and the Eastern Churches, and of the bilateral-theological dialogue-meeting on the renewal of the Church between the Evangelical Church in Germany and the Romanian Orthodox Church. The second volume contains the papers of conference on the theological understanding freedom in the orthodox and the protestant tradition plus a collection of essays on theological, ethical and ecological matters by Patriarch Bartholomew I. The third volume documents the theological dialogue between the oriental-orthodox Churches and the Evangelical Church in Germany on the future of Christianity in the Near East and the bilateral dialogue between the evangelical church in Germany and the Moscow Patriarchate on martyrdom and Christian witness.
