Metaverse

Based on the interrelated technology, scenarios, and governance systems, the metaverse has evolved from a mere "e;virtual world"e; to an autonomous and realistic socio-economic system. The perception layer, network layer, data intelligence layer, and application layer constitute the underlying technology of the metaverse, which supports and integrates various application scenarios such as social interaction, entertainment, creation, culture, education, and finance, forming an economic reality within the virtual world. However, this underlying technology and economic reality can give rise to technological risks, power risks, and interaction risks between the virtual and physical worlds. Governance based on ethics and law is required to address these risks, and it is timely to build a community of stakeholders in the metaverse to achieve its "e;good governance."e;
