Linguistic Statistical Methods Based on R

Statistics is an important method in language research, and R is one of the popular statistical tools in international academia today. This book introduces how to implement various statistical methods in language research with R. The book is divided into three parts: the first part introduces the basics of R software, how to install and use it, as well as the two main features of R, i.e., the sampling function and the graphing function; the middle part focuses on the commonly used inferential statistical methods and how to realize them in R; the second part focuses on the application of statistics in exploratory language research, and gives an in-depth reflection on the statistical methods themselves and their use.
