Bigger Book of Even Better Questions

It is a fact that answers come only to questions, and the better the question, the better the answer is likely to be. A book like this is not meant to be read like any other. There is no point to going on just to say, I read that book. The guidance of one of my teachers applies here: Stay where there s fruit. If a question rankles, disturbs or upsets you, take it to your quiet place, and sit with it, letting it dissolve into your mind like a piece of rock candy dissolves slowly on your tongue. This other counsel from the medieval scholastics ( Non multa sed multum ) also applies. Freely translated: It s not knowing many things that satisfies the soul but knowing a few quality things deeply. A superlatively good question taken to heart can change a life. (Caveat Lector: Let the reader beware.) If you are not ready, willing and open to change of perspective and behavior, STOP. Don t read this book. It will be too dangerous to the status quo. Forewarned is forearmed.
